    Default Car Sharing

Does anyone have experience with car sharing (where you pay to have access to a care when you need...more or less)?

It's an option I am looking into (I have no car, but also have no where to park if I were to buy one)

I saw this on television...if you don't drive often it's a fairly cheap option. Plus what I saw you don't have to put the gasoline in the car....or pay for it...it's included in the price.

    Go to www.ClarkHoward.com

He talked about this a few weeks back on his show and was very pro on it if you don't have to drive very much. I think there is a monthly fee or something that you pay.

yeah for about 5 four hour trips in a month it would work out to about $150 (less i think - I prefer averaging higher). No you don't pay for gas (well you would tank up if it's below the 1/2 mark but would get a reduced bill the next time around).

I guess since I wouldn't use a car to go to work (it's a 10min walk and parking is CRAZY expensive) and not most nights either I can't justify the high cost of a car of my own. Plus I don't have parking - which alone would cost most likely +$100/mt (unless I really luck out) and probably wouldn't be right next door.

I still have questions for them but wanted to see if anyone had (or knows someone who does) experience with this first hand.
