My daughter is 16 and is driving now...sometimes her mouth and attitude are so rotten I tell her I just want to smack her lips right off of her face, but her lips would hit the wall and still be going blah blah blah :. Anyway, we went to K-Mart, got a few things and I go around to the passenger side and get in, she starts to get into the driver side. She leapt out of the car and took off running, back towards the store. About 5 or 6 spaces away from us, there is a run-away cart, headed right for a shiny black SUV. She ran right in front of the cart and prevented it from hitting the SUV ;D. There were a few people who saw her do this (not the SUV's owner) and they all ooohed and aaaahed over her. Wow was I one proud mama!
Good for her! And you for teaching her right! Carts in parking lots are one of my BIGGEST pet peaves! ESPECIALLY when they leave the cart out side of the little gate area RIGHT next to it...ARG!!!
I love Sam-dog!!! ~Laura
Just when you really doubt they will ever grow up, they go and blow it all to heck and do something nice. Kids, never consistant! ;D You did a good job on her.![]()

What a great daughter you raised!! Congrats!!!![]()
What a nice gesture by your daughter! I think you'll see over time how wonderful your daugther can be. I know there were times I never thought my girls would be the thoughtful sweet young women they are today. It just the teen years we had to survive.
What a good girl! When she is about 20 it gets even better! ;D
