OK. Not to beat a dead horse...
Do you guys like it any better in this context? This is probably a better picture of the color, and how it looks in the room. Still no?
From the other angle I could hide the ugly grate in the wall behind Kevin's chair. :-X

Still no. In fact, absolutely no. I stayed out of the last thread, but since you asked AGAIN...I thought I'd chime in. Sorry.![]()

It still doesn't go with the modern feel of the rest of the house.
I know you love your brick wall. But kneel in front of her, say a few kind and loving words and then turn her into something else. Let her evolve!![]()

You need to do something about that ugly grate. :P
Is it metal? Can you spray paint it? Whats it for? The intake for the heater?
I think it should be black.Originally Posted by JollyMolly

You could always find nice paneling to put up over the brick. I probably missed it, but is the brick a panel piece or wall paper?

I think so too. It's been on our to do list for years. But, you'd have to spray paint it, and the frame doesn't come off the wall. Soooo, we'd have to make a spray tent in our living room. Lotsa trouble. :-\Originally Posted by Momma to J and A

Oooo. Not a bad idea. Connie, they have paintable paneling at Lowes. You hammer up the paneling over the brick and paint it a nice color.Originally Posted by myjake
I think that the easiest fix would be beadboard, but it may be too traditional.
