Early Saturday morning a thunder storm rolled in usually not a big deal. Not this time. lightining came in took out my xbox 360 big screen in the living room cable modem, my wireless router and allies one week old washer. The lightning crashed through our bedroom ceiling popping out 4 holes complete with new burned out electricity smell. We are safe no lives were lost and house is still standing. Call insurance agent was told to go forth and replace what needed to be replaced. We get ready to go to town to buy replacements proceed to Allies car get in wah weah wah her car doesn't start.

Engine will still run though Call Allies dad for parental advice Find out he has testicular cancer treatable but still cancer. We are alive are house is standing and thank god the weekend is almost over. Anyway of anyone needs some bad luck let us know and we'll send you all you want.
Whoa, Denny!! I hope the run of bad luck is over - you guys have had more than your share. You are all in our thoughts and prayers!!
OH MY GOSH! I am so glad you are both ok!
Good thoughts for Allie's dad. Testicular cancer can be VERY treatable/curable. I don't think my BIL had any treatments at all post-surgery. Just surgery - and he's fine.
First, I'm glad you and your family are ok.
Second, good thoughts and prayers for your FIL
Third, geez, what a weekend!

Holy Cow-- that sucks! I'll cross my fingers and think good thoughts for you guys that nothing else happens.

OMG I can't believe Allie's new washer. She was just telling us how you were already seeing a savings on the water bill.
Sorry guys what a crappy weekend.
Good thoughts for your dad Allie.
Wow! That brings back memories of when our house was struck with lightening. My month old Buick was parked under the deck and would not start. The lightening had fried some circuit boards. All kinds of damage done to the house and things inside, plus in the barn.
Glad everyone is safe.

Oh my gosh, so glad there was no fire and you guys are okay.
Testicular cancer is VERY treatable, prayers that Allie's Dad is fine.
