The first time Tulsa hosted the PGA was in 2001. SO exciting. The city was pumped with hospitality and generosity.
It's back. Now it's price gouging, horrendous traffic congestion, outrageous home-letting to the glamorous (and some not-so-glamorous) and wealthy and their attending security squads.
People pay scads just to walk the course on practice rounds.
I wonder if this sort of phenomenon occurs at St. Andrews?

If you are into golf - it would be pretty cool.
To err is human: to forgive, canine
Every summer just down the road from my parents there is a PGA tournament- The Buick Open.
I know of what you speak! lol. Although, the last few years they haven't used the old fields for parking, so traffic hasn't been all that bad.
This is my dog. His name is Tucker. And we live in Ontario, Canada, eh!

I am into golf. Everyone in my family (big family) plays. I do not. I tried (I was awful) but at least I have more than a passing appreciation for what it takes.
It is wonderfully exciting to me to have the tournament here. Tudor and I both like to watch. On TV, of course.
