I need ideas people!!!

Ok... so aparently as the "gen Y" member of the family.. it has fallen upon me to create a website to keep people updated on mom's surgery. I don't want to put up some generic thing.. this is my momma.. it's gotta be pretty and fun/positive/upbeat.

Ok.. so here is my rough draft for the front page...

I need to change periocardial effusion to pericardiectomy... and her return date is March 20.

Gonna make the surgeon/cardiologist names links to thier mayo clinic websites.

Will add a blog but keep the "main page" as a quick look at where mom is at.

Oh .. and the picture.. those are just placeholders now.. mom is sending me some more variety... hopefully one with John and stuff.

Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions?

That's cuz you do such a great job already!!! I agree, links to the Mayo Clinc; maybe a link to something online as to the kind of surgery she is having.
It's really neat, the kind of relationship you have with your mom!!
