    Default On Clothes Sizes

I wanted to order some tank tops from Eddiebauer.com

Pretty much the same style that I normally wear. So I check the size of my tops. One is a Petite/Xsmall, the other is a Petite/Medium.
    Both fit the same.

So now I'm confused as to what I should order. Why can't they make the sizes the same all the time? ??? I may order one small, and one medium and see...

Don't even get me started on wimmin's clothes sizing. I have to know how the different brands size that I sell.

I find that Eddie Bauer runs a bit big.

I thought so too, but I have this petite medium top on right now, and I know I am not a medium (for tops, anyway). I probably ordered a small or xsmall then had to return it.

The sizes vary so much that I dislike shopping for clothes, I really don't know what size to buy unless I try it on first.

Isn't there a sizing page with measurements on their website. I never had this problem....Xsmall is not in my vocabulary!

yeah me too. I almost always have to return...and then I have to pay the shipping charges to return the clothes. But I don't care to go to the shopping center to shop...it just takes too much time. Okay, so I guess it all works out. Pay a little more in postage, but don't have the aggravation of looking for parking, standing in lines, etc.

Randi...they do have a chart. According to their chart, I'm either an
x-small or small for tops (I'm not saying what I am for "bottoms" LOL)

But my tops from Eddie Bauer vary between xsmall and medium. I just don't get it.

I also have a gortex jacket from them which is an xsmall which is way too big. I guess the jackets run larger b/c most people (cold weather folk) layer underneath. I'm usually in a tank and shorts under the gortex.

Sizing drives me nuts too. I have to try stuff on. I wear jeans anywhere from a size 10 to a 14!
