I've posted in L/C and in Health & Nutrition as well. A friend's lab has been diagnosed with a mast cell tumor that is not too advanced. Has anyone else heard that once these are open to air they spread 2-3x faster? How much does "genetics" play a role when it comes to labs??
If it is not too advanced, then surgery should offer a good chance for a cure..
my black female had a malignant mast cell removed 18 months ago, the margins looked good and there had been no recurrence...vet says that after she was clean for a year, the worries should be over...good luck to your friend's lab...
