I've recently re-discovered Monopoly. Actually, I've even taken it a step further and bought "Clemsonopoly"!
I also used to love Yatzee (sp?).
What about all of y'all?

Candyland!! ;D

DON'T TRY TO FRIEND ME. I hate it when people try to friend me, especially if they just broke board rules. Friending moderators or friends of moderators will NOT exempt you.
Candy land for sure
When I was really young, the kids down the street (who were REALLY spoiled) had a game called THERE'S A GOAT ON THE ROOF or something like that. Involved a barnyard and animals and ringing a small bell at some point or other. That game was a hoot!
When I got to be older, favorite board game was/is Scrabble, but then again I am a drip.
Monopoly always TOOK too long. And my brother would jump to be banker first ("Icalledit! Icalledit!") so that when he was cash-poor, he could embezzle.
We used to play a game as a family when I was little, but I was really to young to understand it... I think it was called Scotland Yard?
My favourite childhood board game was definitely snakes and ladders.

Monopoly was played a lot at my house growing up. My dad and uncle used to play for hours on end! LOL.
Currently- we really like Apples to Apples. We only have the Junior edition, but are going to get the Family edition for Christmas as a family gift. Lots of laughs!
This is my dog. His name is Tucker. And we live in Ontario, Canada, eh!

WE LOVE SCOTLAND YARD!!!! The dweckettes just learned how to play it, and it has leapt to being their favorite-favorite board game!!Originally Posted by CoCosMom

When we were very young, it was Candyland and Mouse Trap.
Later on, Monopoly & Scrabble.
