. . . I would go to a button conference just to be in the A/C!
. . . I'd sign up for a statistics classs just to be in the A/C!
. . . you couldn't pay me enough money to be at Disneyland today!
How about you -- even if you're not in southern California?
It's so stinkin' hot that . . . complete the sentence!
...I'm in an air con home ready to take a nap. :P
Seriously, it's warm and humid outside. Even Zoe doesn't want to go out to pee.

We had a garage sale today and made just under $300.
We've been preparing for this sale for about a month. When we moved to this house 5 years ago half of our two car garage was filled with boxes and furniture -- mostly boxes. I spent 3 days with my sister going through the pile of boxes and culling the trash from the 'good' stuff.
Do you know that out of that whole pile of boxes -- easily at least 200 banker boxes -- that I had, maybe, six epiphany moments where I said, "Oh! I wondered where that was!" The rest of it was just C-R-A-P!
We still have some tidying up to do and shoring of rafters so that we can put more storage up above in the garage, but in a few week's time we will be able to get the car and the truck in the garage.
But, it was so stinkin' hot that I was red-faced and DRIPPING with sweat.
Hot! Hot! HOT!
Wow, that's hard work, but at least you made some $ for the day.
Wanna buy Zoe a new collar? :P ;D
Think of it as getting a good workout. I would like to hire you to prep for our garage sale. You seem like a hard worker.

I am feeling your pain.
Sandie, Tank 5/25/1998 - 07/08/2011, Orson & Sully
Well, I am TIRED of this weather. It is making me tired. And of course, we don't have a/c. <<boo hoo. Minor pity party.>>
My daughter is having a pool party for her birthday. She has never been able to have a pool party. We're usually buried in June gloom at this time of year. This weather is more like August or Sept. weather. It could be worse. We could live in Victorville, like my sister. (But she has a/c!)
108 and praying for monson rain to come.
Seriously we are leaving for Vegas tomorrow. So we will still be doing the stay in the AC stuff.
Karon<br /><br />
A hundred and flippin' eight degrees? I don't think I could stand it!
Katherine -- what's WITH the weather? I want my June gloom!
Zoesmom -- how about if I MAKE Zoe a collar out of a banker's box?
Quote: "You seem like a hard worker." End Quote. And then followed by long periods of inactivity!
Sandie -- your kind of electric bill scares the beweebies out of me. We actually have central air but we can't afford to use it!
Here's for cool breezes and lots of tropical umbrella drinks ...
LOL @ kelli
swimmer: Karon is going to Vegas; she'll win the mega-bucks and will give you enough $ to have your air con on during the summer.
Seriously though, seems like our weather patterns are changing...I agree; it's July and it feels like August or September (our warm/humid months).
