    Default aging question

I seem to be in more of these situations lately, my folks, friends, even my boss from time to time. When someone is so forgetful and has a hard time grasping what is going on..how do you handle it? I tend to sit back and listen if my parents are trying to talk and get across to the other, but I feel stupid just sitting there.

It is hard to watch parents get like this. My Dad has alzheimer's and it has got to be the cruelest disease.
