Jolie, Pitt's baby girl to be gifted 17,000-dollar pacifier
LOS ANGELES (AFP) - A silver spoon apparently doesn't make the cut for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's new baby daughter, but a personalized pacifier-maker will instead gift the celebrity couple a 17,000-dollar, diamond-studded pacifier.
"It's a solid, white-gold pacifier, with 279 diamonds. The whole front of it is covered basically with diamonds, three-carat plus," Mathis Riiber, a founder of Itsmybinky.com, told AFP.
Riiber said the pricey aide was originally made for Donald Trump's baby, and he claimed that he will gift the pacifier to Jolie and Pitt in the next couple of weeks on a television show.
The company offers customized pacifiers of colored diamonds for high-end customers.
Jolie and Pitt's baby girl, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, was born on May 27.
Obviously, this thing would be just for show. You can't give a baby a pacifier with tons of little diamonds on it!!!

No kidding. When my kids were babies were were always losing those things. Personally I think The Donald should have sprung for a diamond studded pacifier chain to clip on the babies shirt so she wouldn't lose the binky ;D I mean come on don't be so CHEAP!!!!!
:
C'mon Donald, how about something practical, like a gift card.

Actually, I have three of them, two with pink diamonds and one with blue, and I can vouch for the fact that they are completely safe. The diamonds are only on the end, so they don't go near the baby's mouth. It is true that the maker doesn't recommend it for actual child use, but I say that the kid needs to learn that comfort and health need to be sacrificed for fashion occasionally. The gold is nickel free and the nipple is genuine silicone, so I say, go for it and make a statement!Originally Posted by Melissa

Jenn, LMAO!
Gee.... I wonder if the diamonds were mined in an African country, since the baby was born in Namibia ( I think?)! I'm thinking that the $17000 might have been better spent in Africa on HIV treatment or building schools or something extravagent like that!
