Most people take vacation to relax... I usually work. I had to replace the old, rusty, hog wire along one stretch of my pasture. I took down all the interior paddocks awhile ago, and reused the wood. Let me just say that 16 year old pressure treated lumber is PETRIFIED. I could barely cut this stuff (hand saw, out in the field). However, I think the end result is nice, and it was FREE except for all my labor (five days).

"I'm glad I'm back too, Kel. You know your so special to me. Could not imagine my life without you in it. " - Ma

They were your words, Ma.. I wish they had been mine. I miss you.

Holy COW Linda!!! You are amazing! Where's that worship emoticon when I need it!!!!
Wow....it's beautiful. How are your hands and arms feeling?
It's fabulous! It really beautifies the pasture. I remember your paddocks... had no idea there was that much wood in them.
Magnum and Ruger won't try to shimmy underneath the bottom slat, will they?

Raian ... I have 140 feet of 3-rail white vinyl fence to put up at each side our entrance way. I need to buy a post hole digger and 12" auger for my JD 790 rather than trying to dig all those post holes by hand. What did you use for your's? How big in diameter, how deep, and did you use quickcrete in each?
I was going to post a few pics of the before and after of mine when it is finished.
Now, after seeing YOUR work, I will not only NOT post pics, I will DELETE this reply after posting it!
Great work there, Ma'm.
Remi and Rusty aren't my whole life. They're trying to fill the hole in my heart left by Cappy's passing.
Well, I'm poor farm girl. I do all the work by hand. I have an ancient post hole digger that my dad gave me. He's gone now, but by God I still use that post hole digger. I set posts down about 2 1/2 to 3 feet. I do not set in quickcrete. It's been my experience that the posts I have set in Quickcrete ROT. Luckily my horses pretty much leave the fence alone.. .and besides a post that leans this way or that... hell.. it just adds a bit of character to the place.
My arms are fine... although for awhile I did think my right bicep would curl up and die ;D ;D
The worse thing is... I get cramps in my thumb, palm on my right hand when I hammer. OY!
linda, you really know how to hustle!!!
