Stick stuck in Ziggy's mouth

We got it out but...anything I should watch for? There was no bleeding, just a VERY freaked out husband and a scared pup! It happened this morning and he seems fine, now he is running at the park with my son.

We had to go to the vet once and have one removed. Willie had a stick wedged in tight. We were scared to remove it ourselves. It's been a long time ago but from what I remember the vet had us feed all soft food for a few days because the tissue was so irritated but other then that he was fine.

Thank you! It wasn't in there long and there isn't any redness, maybe we'll do chicken and rice tonight just to be safe.

Poor pup!! I like Lisa's advice with the soft food. The dry will irritate it...same with treats.
