Color ideas for granite

We went to the kitchen store and he said that he really didn't like light granite colors. He has more complaints on light colors. So he suggested the below to go with white appliances and honey maple cabinets. Thoughts?

those above were my favorites in the small slab, still have to decide if I like it seeing in on bigger kitchens.

he really likes the below colors....I worry they are too dark with white appliances and may make the appliances stick out like a sore thumb.

I like group 1, both 1 & 2 are nice. I have medium cherry cabinets & my granite is dark, black/emerald greenwith flecks of silvery white. Granite is beautiful. I don't think you will be disappointed with any of them. I had one color picked out but when we went to the granite place, I choose another because it semed to have a bit more "character". Seeing the larger slab was better & helped me decide.

I like the Giallo Ornamental myself - but I really prefer a figured granite. The overall small pattern seems kind of boring to me.

My Dad has something very close to the " Tropical brown" and it is very nice and not to dark at all. They also have white appliances.

Yep, I am going for a "busier" granite because the maple cabinets have very little grain. I think I can get away with a little more pattern. Went to a friends tonight who has something similar to Giallo Vicenza and I loved it!

I like the first one the best, cant wait to see the finished
kitchen ! I'm sure it will look rich !
