I have a prescription cortisone cream, and my dermatologist kept telling me "It's not a moisturizer, you need that, too!" So I use both.

Got 2 jars of coconut oil in the mail yesterday - YAY!!! I put some in the dogs food lastnight and they all love it! Question Justine, how do you measure it out, it's hard as a rock in the jar? I just scraped out what I could and mixed it in the food.

Also used it as a moisturizer today - WOW! It soaked right in and my skin is amazingly soft and not greasy at all. I'm so glad you told me about this, thank you!!!

wow that was fast. It took 8 days to get to my mailbox. I use a small spoon to scrape it out, Buck licks it right off the spoon. I also scrape with another spoon and drop it into a shot glass and melt it in microwave for 15 seconds, then drink it. For my face i use a q-tip and then melt it in my fingers. Try it on your hair, you'll be amazed at the shine. Glad you like it, i couldn't believe my face within the first week. If you do get any small breakouts, don't worry, it's cleaning your pores.

I will try that, thanks! I also noticed that I'm not putting powder on my face every half hour to get rid of 'shine'. This stuff is amazing!

My hair is amazingly shiny already so I don't think I'll try that. I can't stand to put anything other than shampoo and conditioner in my hair because it can get so greasy.

LOL it doesn't make your hair oily at all, I use it once a week instead of conditioner that day.
