BBC News - Towns cut off in eastern Australia flooding

Severe flooding is threatening parts of New South Wales and Queensland in eastern Australia, with towns cut off and thousands of residents evacuated.

Well his computer's working so unless his feet are in water then all is fine at the moment !

So far we're OK here. Most of those floods are about 300 miles from here but it still makes me as nervous as hell watching it on TV. This time last year we were all watching the same thing happen north & west of here never thinking we were next in line to cop it.

So far in this flood, a woman is missing presumed drowned.

This is a TV news video of the anniversary of our flood last year. The reporter is in Riverheart Parklands only about 10 minutes from me. When the river peaked at 19.4 m it hit the bottom of that bridge in the background.
