Default One benefit of not having much snow this winter...

My backyard has never been so clean going into February.

There are usually a few land mines that get covered by the snow. As of today, we have no snow on the ground and I was able to get any that I missed before the snow we got on the weekend. Why do I feel like I just accomplished a major feat?? And really only people with dogs can relate to this poop talk.

And by few, I mean a few here and a few there. Which adds up to more than I care to admit. But not Gina proportions!

Yep, yesterday I cleaned up our yard too. Downside, I found a tick on me later in the evening.

LOL!! It is autumn that i hate, i find it hard to distinguish between what is a turd and what is a leaf. Normally have to get up pretty close to be sure, hate that job!

My brother is cleaning up my yard right now! He is grounded and his punishment is cleaning up the land mines all week.

I did a major clean-up Sunday as the snow was starting to fall. Oddly enough, it stuck mainly to the poop, so the solid areas of snow were poop and the grass showed everywhere else. LOL Made it both easier and harder - easier to spot them, but harder because the snow was heavy!

I've been trying to keep up with it every day we're out there. The thing at my house is, I taught mine to go in the woods, not the yard, but in the winter when there's snow, they sometimes have to go in the yard. Even though there's not much snow, they are still going in the yard. WTH?

Do they know it's the time of year they're allowed to go in the yard? These dogs are too smart for us.
