Better you than me. We are supposed to have mild weather here on out. I'm worried about what impact this is going to have on our farmers, and the wildlife this year. Our winter has been so mild, I'm talking Feb. 1st in the mid 50's. WTH?
We had 60 degree temps yesterday. Someone from CT posted a pic of a comparison from last winter to this...this winter we've had 6. 8 inches (not including the freak Halloween storm). Last winter? 68 inches.
Definitely prefer this winter.

We've set record temps most of this week, only going to be in the 50's today.

It's been in the 60's all week here today it's still in the mid 50's. I'm loving it but just can't get over this feeling that we're going to get a really bad storm yet this winter. Dad said his easter lillies and something else were already coming up. We don't normally get huge snowfall amounts like up north but we normally have a few snowfalls by now that accumulate to at least 3-4" if not a lot more. This year none we had one day it snowed and stuck but only a dusting. If it could wait a few more weeks so they could get the I-64 bridge done I would very much appreciate it.
It's sunny, 70, and our local groundhog did NOT see his shadow today. Bring on spring and summer!
We skipped winter though, seriously, and went from fall to spring. It has been SO mild this year...not a single day below 30 (and only a hand full of days below 50).
Unadilla Phil didn't see his either, we keep ours in a small town about 35 miles away. Not much there but him and a great locker that makes some dang good sausage.
Well the sausage alone is worth keeping the town on the map.

37F here now, and it is supposed to be in the high 30's to low 40's until at least Monday. It has been an odd winter. The kids have only skated on the pond a couple of times, we haven't been able to ski/snow board . . . my kids are bummed.
I would like to skip spring too, and just have an extra long summer.
