Darwin has surprised me in the aftermath of... things (HAPPY POST!)

I was pretty worried about how he would deal with, you know. It took Dar a full year to get through his grieving process when Paddy left us.

I am SO surprised! He's like a dog I've never known! He's displaying a calm and confidence I've never seen before. He's lolling around on the big dog beds (NEVER did this before), he's not TALKING the entire time he's eating (a behaviour he adopted to keep Meg at bay from his food bowl), he's not biting his back, and apart from his moments on Meg's pillow on the futon, he's just an all around more relaxed little guy!

It's kinda like, "Okay! Now it's just us guys!!"

I am greatly relieved to see this.

Awww, I'm happy for Dardog. I was worried he would take the brunt of Meg's absence, I'm glad he seems to be adjusting (I hope everyone else is too).
