In his mouth??
He was yawning, at least I think that is what he was doing. He always opens his mouth wide like a yawn. While he was doing this, it was like he got a certain point and had to stop. And he let out a yelp.
I went over to check him out. I felt him all over and then tried to look in his mouth and he let out a bigger yelp.![]()
So I let him run off to his bed upstairs. I am going to try to look again before he eats dinner. Could it be a tooth? He was just at the vet back in September for his annual physical and they said his teeth were fine.
I am going to call and try to get him to be seen if he yelps again after my next attempt to check out his mouth.
He is not drooling, panting or acting like he is in pain anywhere else.

I hate when you can't find the source! Maybe when he eats dinner you will see something in how he eats - or doesn't eat. Hope it's nothing.

He could have a cracked tooth, or he could have injured his mouth chewing on something. Will he let you look yet?

I'd check his teeth and I'd check his jaw. It could be either one.

Just seeing this. I hope it is nothing serious.
I hope he's ok. Sometimes I wish they could talk.

Hope you have it figured out by now and it wasn't serious.
