ok i need help here im going cccrazy!!!
so i live in a villa, 3 in the block.
we have a long thin drive way that ends with our car space as we are the end villa.
the villa #1 has a carspace at begining of driveway and villa#2 being in the middle does not have an offstreet carspace other than a garage.
so anyway ill get to the point...
villa #2 insists on parking in the middle of the driveway blocking my car if im home and want to leave or blocking my entrance to my carspace and unit if im arriving home..this is very annoying as i own my unit and my carspace offstreet and its very annoying to have to stop get out knock on their door and ask them to move when ITS A BLOODY DRIVEWAY...even though ive asked them polietly "can you pleasssse not park in the driveway" numerous times they just ignore me...even when the guys mother came for a visit she parked in the driveway i mean who does that?
they did it on xmas eve, parked me in then when i asked them to move the car it wouldnt start and i was blocked in for upto 2 hours while they changed the battery...and they didnt even apologize, or even explain to me what was going on!
When i tried to approach them again for the hundreth time please dont park there, they just give me attitude! the last straw was today they had a visitor who parked in the driveway blocking me out of my carspace AGAIN!
am i just being petty or should i go to the real estate and complain (they're only renting) i dont like to fued with neighbours coz i fear if things get nasty i might be putting my dog, josie at risk
Has anyone had this problem or problems with neighbours before?.. heeeelp me!![]()

Is the complex under the control of a body corporate? If it is, I'd start there. If not, yep definitely complain to the RE. No way would I put up with that BS.
Before you do, take photos every time it happens. Take diary notes of who said what to who & the times & dates of these conversations. That combined with the photos will give the real estate agent plenty of ammo to throw at them & hopefully pull them into line or kick them out. I would also point out to the agent that they're creating a safety hazard. What if there was a fire? The driveway would be blocked not only as an escape route but it's also blocking access to emergency vehicles. Think fire, police, ambulance etc. Also stress to the agent the personal inconvenience to you & the ensuing BS you cop every time you ask them to move.
Not to mention the fact they're just a bunch of inconsiderate lowlife that probably have no place in a civilised society anyway.
As for the potential risk of them harming the dog, that's a tricky one.

yes garth its body corp..we have a meeting on the 6th so im going to bring it up there and hopefully the owner who rents it out to them can get the real estate to tell them, maybe they will listen coming from the real estate??
hopefully
my other neighbour in villa#1 (who isnt affected by the driveway debacle) says that because of their natonality (theyre turkish) they dont "communicate well with others" eventhough they speak perfect english and their son goes to school here?? i mean do ppl in turkey go around doing whatever they feel like without caring how theyre impacting others? surely not

GREAT! Why don't you suggest they bring in a rule regarding tenant & visitor parking? Set out the designated parking areas & anyone who breaches them gets towed away. They wouldn't park there again.
Best thing is, because it's a body corp rule, they can't blame any one person (IE you) if they do get towed. As I said before, I'd also bring up the safety issue.

We live on a 1-lane private road that has 2 houses besides ours. Luckily everyone has their own driveway off the road, so our neighbors aren't a problem. We do have problems with other people parking there though. If anyone blocks us in, I call the police. I report it as a nuisance and a safety issue (one of my neighbors has a lot of medical problems). You have talked to the neighbors enough, I would definitely take the next step (whatever that is where you live).
No, I wouldn't kill them. You have only completed step 1 (asking them nicely), killing doesn't come into play until at least step 5.![]()

I would start parking behind them and make them come ask me to move all the time.
....and always be busy and get out there in a half hour or so to move it.
