In the crate next to Meg's there were two little rescue puppies; a mini dox and what looked like a GR mix. Both pups about 4-5 weeks old and I was there when the rescue brought them in on Saturday. Adorable little tykes.
Doc Wendy and I had Meg on the exam table, just talking to her, talking to each other, soothing Meg, trying to be all serious... but those puppies had the ROWDIEST game of baby bitey face going on! And you guys know the sounds pups make...nnnggghhhhs and high pitched yips and "pretend growls" and flipping each other over and over; we could hear them thump into the crate door and start all over again.
Wendy and I couldn't help it... we started giggling! "Oh my gosh, Wendy! Are we hearing the rescue pups from yesterday??" "Yes! And they don't stop! It is so cute!"
And so and so and so...![]()

Don't ever save anything for a special occasion. Being alive is the special occasion.

When we had to bring one of our pet rabbits in after several bouts with tumors I was in the waiting room while Pete was in the back with the vet. I was terribly upset and then this older couple came in with this Boston terrier...who was this snorty hyper thing. You know when they stick their tongue out and every breath they take sucks their tongue to the front of their face? And the snorting!! I couldn't help myself and got a case of the giggles.
You never know what fate may bring you to make you smile.

Cute story, Nance. I sure hope you and your crew are doing ok.
Aw, that is a cute story, maybe they were sent there to be there with you and Meggie.
Aw, that's so sweet! One of the vets at my practice is named Wendy. She's the one I like most.
