My turn to ask for good thoughts and prayers....

Quinn's in the ER. Second time today and this time she has to stay. She started screaming and yelping with pain about 9 PM last night. Couldn't pinpoint where it was and thought maybe it might be coldtail, so I decided to just keep an eye on her and see how it went. Well she was still crying whenever she moved at 3 AM and it obviously wasn't her tail so into the ER we went. Vet found some pointy hard plastic in her rectum (found a fuzzy toy snake chewed in half when I came home from being out yesterday afternoon) and worked it out. Quinn pooped at the vet and seemed better so I took her home.

She ate when we got home and seemed better so I went back to bed. When I tried to get her to out with the others once I got up, she wouldn't and when I insisted, she yelped and screamed again. Back to the ER we went where this time they did x-rays. Besides the usual pea gravel, there looked to be something at the cecum, where the small and large intestine meet. The vet didn't think it was a blockage YET, but wanted to keep her to give her fluids and see if that will help move it down out of there.
