Sooo, the new lady

Was quite the show today. She came in, didn't say anything, hung her coat up and stood there. She was told to file reports in the patients charts. Easy peasy, right? WRONG!

She tried for about an hour. Turns out not everyone knows their alphabet. She went into the bathroom, where we heard her talking, and came out 20 minutes later, sobbing. She wanted to go home because her back was hurting from filing.

The manager told her that was a good idea....and there was no reason for her to come back.

Hokay then.....lol.

She looked to be in her 50s. She was born in 1968. I was born the same year!!!

I still can't believe the way she was sobbing. I was stunned to tell the truth. That doesn't happen often. I said it almost made me start looking for the hidden camera! Lol.

I think it's a little sad. The back thing might just have been an excuse to cover up the fact that she might really not know enough to file and was just overwhelmed.

Maybe her husband died and she's back in the workforce for the first time in 30 years and on her first day people made fun of her speech and weren't nice to her.

Have a great weekend while the poor old lady tries to figure out how to pay for pet food this month. I hope she doesn't have to surrender her dog to the shelter because she can't care for it. Poor Sparky is probably 12 years old and nobody will ever adopt him and he'll spend his last days on a hard concrete floor because nobody would teach his mommy how to file.
