Default There's a new lady at work

Today was her first day. About an hour in she was hand flapping and muttering 'this is overwhelming, this is just overwhelming'.

Then it took her 40 minutes to add $359.50. And....we didn't balance.

And worst of all.....I don't hear so well sometimes. I walked in and she was sitting there. Surprise!! I introduce myself and she says hi. Nothing else. So I ask her name. (she's in her fifties. Doesn't it seem logical that when I said 'Hi, I'm Sonya' she would've told me her name?) She says...Alethea. So I repeat it. She says yes. I have no frickin clue if her name is Alicia and she has a lisp or if her name is really Alethea.

Is she from Spain? Maybe her name is "Alicia" but she says it with a Castillian accent.

Apart from that, it sounds like that's really going to work out.

You guess, you guess, you know it would be so wrong. And yes I might have thought about it, wouldn't do it, way over the top even for me, but you can't hang me for what I think.

At that point I was just trying to figure out what she was saying. I never know if it's my ears or the other persons mouth that's making it difficult. Lol.

I wouldn't worry about it. She probably won't be around for long.

Or she'll stay for 30 years and screw up everything.
