I'm curious because I wear New Balance Rock-n-Tone's. However, I've noticed that they may work my butt too much. I have a lot of muscle pain and fatigue in my glutes and I only walk 1 1/4 miles a day (3.5 mph). I have to take a few days off per week because of the muscle pain. Anyone else experience this?
Honestly, the only reason I bought these shoes is because after I had Caleb I had horrible flared bunions because I didn't realize my feet grew a whole size. These were the only shoes that felt good, the rest really bothered my feet because they were too hard around my big toe.
It's been scientifically proven that those shoes are crap.
#1 they don't help you lose weight
#2 they can be detrimental to your natural walk and cause injury/pain
Buy some normal shoes.

I wear my Fit Flops almost every day. Not because of their claim to tone your legs, etc, but because they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.
Nope. They are in the closet next to the pet rock, chia pet and snuggies. Eventually I will open a second hand fad store.
Yes, like I said they were the only shoes that I could wear that helped my feet...but my butt muscles are hurting now. I wore my regular shoes today and my butt doesn't hurt as much but my feet hurt more.
Go to a good running shoe store. Not one of those mall type wannabes. Have them fit you for a shoe. It makes a world of difference.
Does this boat make my butt look big?
I completely agree. For very little more money than a place like Foot Locker, they will really talk to you about your feet, the fit, how your weight falls when you walk. I always bring in my most current pair of tennis shoe type shoes so they can look at the bottoms and insides and check the wear pattern.

I never go to the mall stores, actually, I never go to the mall LOL. I went to a really reputable store and we were just trying to find solutions to ease the flare up pain of these bunions. They are better now but still flare. What I need is a shoe with really soft fabric in that area. All jogging/walking shoes have hard leather/material around that area. Trying to prevent my toes getting worse.
If you have any foot condition, you should see an ortho, or podiatrist. Whatever shoe you are fitted with may need an orthotic.
