I think it's going to be an early spring. This week she has delivered into the house one garden snake and one birdie. Don't know where the birdie is now... probably back outside.
It was the snake that creeped me out a couple nights ago. Oh, usually I just leave them alone and eventually they disappear. Disappear to where I have NO clue, so I just walk around the house telling the dogs "don't step on the snake... don't step on the snake". AMAZING how they avoid stepping on that little critter!
Le Sigh was here. We walked into the kitchen, the light was dim, and I saw something in one of the dog water bowls. Like a shadow. But what would be making that kind of shadow?? Then it moved. EWWWW! Charlie No-Shoulders had climbed into the bowl and was having a swim! GAHHHHHH! Oh! Creepy, slithering swimming! Oh DOUBLE GAHHHHHH! He was having the time of his life and I am freaking! ICK! That dark top coat and white belly. Oh. Throw up.
Le Sigh kindly removed the serpent from our little piece of Eden and placed him in a leaf pile outside.
I'll probably be seeing him again sometime soon. Oh... Le Sigh, too.![]()

He better act better this time - or we're gonna give him what for!
Yeah, I am glad - but I still say NO SNAKES for NANCE!
Now that would just freak me out!
I'm way over here on the East coast and I'm freaked out long distance. I would not sleep well for awhile after have snakes in my mutha-frackin dog bowl!
