Anyone?
I am doing things bass akwards, as usual. I decided to paint our washroom last Saturday. Now, I've decided it needs new flooring. Currently there is just the vinyl flooring from the builder in there. I found a lovely porcelain tile in a dark brown, almost wood like, that I really really want to put down in there.
Is this a good tile for a full washroom- with a bathtub/shower?
Also- our cabinets are white. The walls are now a beige color, but not a boring beige. LOL. Dark floors would look nice, right?? My husband isn't sold on the color of flooring I've picked out. But he is color blind, so I don't hold much stock in his opinion. But I would hate to order it and then not like it.
Amy and Tucker-
We have 1 x 1' tiles in our baths...make sure it has some texture to it! Ours is clean white and it's just like ice skating!
When I get around to it I'm going to put those in our bathroom, that vinyl in this 112 year old house is just wrong. If Rita will let me I want the hex ones in B&W like a lot of houses this age had when built.
Them that don't know him won't like him
And them that do sometimes won't know how to take him
He ain't wrong, he's just different but his pride won't let him
Do the things that make you think he's right
I put porcelain tiles in my kitchen/dining rooms and both bathrooms. I absolutely love them. I think with your coloring, the dark tiles will look nice, but keep in mind if your room is small, it won't help making it look bigger.
Since my kitchen/dining area is so big, we laid our tiles diagonally, it looks great.
Thanks.
I will try to find a picture online. I took a pic with my phone, but it doesn't do it justice.
Amy and Tucker-
I have slate grey porcelain tile (actually textured to look like slate) on my bathroom floor. Any neutral works well in flooring. You can use virtually any wall color with a neutral floor.

Here is the picture of it from my phone. Why it came out sideways, I'm not sure?
Amy and Tucker-
I like both!
