Default I heart my new dishwasher

Really! It's in the middle of the cycle and I can barely hear it. I took several months (hand washing the whole time), since the Kitchenaid pooped the bed, to make a decision on what I wanted. I finally got a Bosch with a custom front (to match the cabinets) since I did not want black and did not want to buy a stainless DW. I would like a stainless range, but don't want to replace the range now and didn't want to have one color stainless DW and then sometime in the future get a stainless range that did not match. (I know - it's complicated being me, husband just rolls his eyes)

So - the DW is so amazingly quiet! I could not hear myself think while in the same room with the Kitchenaid running. I'm a happy camper.

I posted a dishwasher thread not long ago. We're still looking.....waiting for a good deal etc. Bosch sounded like a good choice. We saw a great deal on a Kitchenaid, but got mixed reviews on them. Our previous one was a GE and we've been fairly happy with it. I look forward to how quiet they are now. Ours was supposed to be one of the most quiet models when we got it, but that was a long time ago and I know you can hardly tell that some of the newer ones are running. Glad you're so happy with it. Another vote for Bosch.

I was the same when we got our new Bosch dishwasher. It's so quiet, compared to the old one, that I kept checking to make sure it was actually on!

    Won't someone please feed me!

Ours sounds like an airplane taking off. It's 12years old and I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with a new one at some point this year.

I will have to remember the Bosch brand. I think Karina has a Bosch one too.

It's so funny that it's so quiet they designed a light that shines on the floor so you know it's running. My only gripe is that it chimes repeatedly to tell you it's done. I need to read the directions to figure out how to shut that off.

I saw something recently that KA dishwashers (and Whirlpool too I think) were catching on fire and KA refused to do a recall. Something to consider.

Glad to see I'm not the only one excited over a new appliance Congrats on the new dishwasher!

    One tuckered pooch!

Politicians and diapers should be changed frequently and all for the same reason.
