Default FedEx wrongly delivered package for fairly well-known actress to my house

Yesterday FedEx left a package for Swoosie Kurtz on my porch. It was addressed to her with my street address but in Los Angeles. Below that it said "corrected address" and had my street address in Riverside, CA (where I live). If it was addressed to Jane Lynch or something like that, I wouldn't assume it was the actress but I'm pretty sure there's only one Swoosie Kurtz in LA.

My street name ends in Lane. My husband googled and there is my street name, but ending in Street, in LA, so I'm pretty sure how it got confused. It was a fancy area a few blocks from Universal Studios. It just seems weird that if they couldn't find it in LA, why go to a different city? Why not see if there was a Street, Road, Ave., etc in the zip code that they were supposed to deliver to?

We are so curious about what it is the package. It's only 7:30 here, I called FedEx, they said to leave it on my porch tomorrow and they'll come get it. You'd think they would send someone today.

I would open it and then wrap it back up.

Then you just write "opened by mistake" on the outside and you're covered. Not that I've ever done that or anything.

Yep, sounds good to me. I'd be dying of curiosity.

I couldn't do it. It would bother my conscience to much. And I'm not sure I'd care that much about what she ordered
