There are natural vegetable dyes, but I doubt the come in those colours. Poor dog, skin & fur aside, that's just ugly.

They have washable dyes they use on dogs in grooming, not harmful at all from what I understand.

I think it's cute! Not my style, but cute nonetheless.

If you do a search of National and International Pet Grooming Competitions there are classes specifically for this type of grooming. The coloring washes out. You will find some very creative and talented people who do amazing things with their entires.

I doubt that it would have been harmful to the dog but you never know. I thought it was very excessive but pretty cute. As I said, reminded me of a Care Bear. I love Care Bears
