That's the stuff in this world that seriously gets spooky. A crazy group here in the US burns the Qur'an, and a crazy group abroad starts killing at the UN.. because... of a crazy US group's ridiculous attention whoring. End result... innocent people die.

I see a few things that are wrong in the bigger picture.
1) The media. The US media is all about RATINGS. If these goofballs in Florida had not had all the publicity, then it would not have been an issue. BUT... EVERYONE likes to gawk at this ridiculousness.

2) There needs to be more ATTENTION given to the world opinion, NOT THE FREAKS. It is easy for people to go off the handle if we are broadcasting a group of American freaks, to represent our country, and vice versa.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a non-profit world organization group that, through donations, would serve only the purpose of bringing the peoples real thoughts and feelings to the front... To recognize that different regions, down to the smallest of communities, or groups within that community, do not share the same culture or religion as their neighbor. We need AWARENESS and ACCEPTANCE of our differences.

If something like this were in place, it would be easier to see the fruitcake for the NUTS IN IT, resulting in less animosity towards each other.

It makes me ill to think of the loss of life due to ignorance and media hype.
