This cold is SO frustrating!

Sitting at my desk, my right nostril is completely clogged. It might as well have a tiny steel door on it for all the good it's doing me. But as soon as I stand up and walk around, it starts to clear. Too bad I can't do my work on the move so I can breathe!

Plus, I look the living dead - pale, dark circles under eyes... (At least I hope that look goes away with the cold!) The bright red nose from all the nose-blowing is a nice touch of color though.

I think you're talking about me! Except mine doesn't clear when I get up either. It sucks! I've tried every OTC imaginable and Allegra D from the doc, even vicks up the nose. nothing works. I'm tempted to try a fire cracker.

Have you tried Mucinex D - the one you have to get from the pharmacist? It's the only thing that's made a dent for me.

I stayed in bed on Wednesday. Too much to do at work to stay in bed again. I'm staying in my office and keeping my germs to myself.

No, I haven't tried the mucinex. Maybe I'll go there on my way home. Thanks Amy, but I can't stay in bed. too much to do. I keep thinking I will not let it get me down!

I hope you feel better! That clogged nostril thing is the worst. I'm having the opposite problem...my sinuses are so dry my teeth have been aching like crazy. I had some salsa for lunch though and it helped.
