Rally running order question!

Hi all!

Ooooh, getting excited about Henery's first AKC trial next weekend!!

They're running ExcellentB/A, AdvancedB/A, NoviceB/A. We're Novice A.

There's a walk through scheduled for 11:40, then NoviceB runs at 11:50 with 20 dogs, and then NoviceA.

I'm assuming that the 11:40 walk-through is for all Novice dogs then?

Hmm! Not sure! I think (and someone else can tell you for sure) that it might be up to the trial organizer. Like, if there were a ton of dogs signed up for A and B and all the handlers out there at once would just be too much, they might have two walk-throughs. ??? Good question!

Mostly I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK!!!!

Yup, both Novice groups walk together, unless as Lindsey said there lots of Novice A folks they may do two walk thrus. But be there in time for the first just in case. I have seen judges let 40 people do one walk thru!

Easier said than done, easier said than done. LOL!!

Fortunately, I have two friends (whom I met during rally trials here) who are doing rally as well, and competing obedience! So we're going to be each other's cheering sections. I'll get a chance to watch an obedience trial for the first time too! (hope I don't get addicted to that too!! LOL!!!)

Have a great time!!!! Just be careful, though. You might get a really bad case of dog show fever and be affected for life!

You are a Rally Virgin! That's so exciting! I'm glad you'll have friends there with you. It makes it so much more fun. You'll meet lots of new people too. Also, everyone cheers for everyone else in Rally. It's a very supportive environment. ;D
