Hmm, thinking of entering an obedience match...

Ferrari will not be ready for Rally Novice in January (he's just not mature enough) but I'm thinking of going ahead and entering him in the match just to get some ring experience on him. He'll be 6 months and eligible to trial (AKC Rally). Should be fun, an adventure for sure

Go for it! As you know, matches are a great way to get ring experience and to see just how ready our pups are.

Well, bummer. If your dog is not entered in the trial, you cannot enter the match. Kinda defeats the purpose, IMHO. Oh well. Guess we will skip the match.

I agree, but this club is over the top goofy, that's why I quit the club several years ago.

Are you close enough to NJ to come to a match? There's one at Top Dog next Sunday. At the end of the month, there's Lehigh Valley KC's annual Canine Learning Experience, in Allenetown, complete with sanctioned matches.

ETA- that's Allentown, PA. I always forget there's an Allentown NJ. LOL
