Here's a video of Ferrari's training session today. Obviously I keep it short and fun as he's only 4.5 months old. But I think he's doing great. He's got a good attitude. Can be a bit stubborn at times, but overall I think he'll be a fine working dog when he's older. Enjoy.

Wow - that's amazing progress for a 4.5 month old puppy! Nice job!
Sharon - still not a dude.
Oh wow! What a smart cutey (and great trainer). That sit stay was amazing. Love that he was happy and loving the training
Saw this on FB - I really enjoyed watching it - did it with a flip video uh? I'm going to have to figure out how edit like that (what program do you use?) I can't believe how big he looks already!
Hey Pat, I just use the FLIP video program, it's simple. Basically you just cut the film and then "movie" it together, short and sweet. I have movie-maker as well and that does all the fancy things, but it's more of a pain to use for short little clips like this.
He is amazing for 4.5 months! Would you like to train a misbehaving Lab of the same age, lol?! Maxx does not listen half that well and EVERYTHING distracts him...
Oh, he gets distracted. But I do a lot of play with the training and that really helps him stay focused on me. That's why you see me tugging with him a lot. That is his reward. I use treats and play rewards and keep the sessions really short (this one lasted about six minutes total. I cut out a lot of the tugging and playing![]()
He is adorable. He looks like he is really enjoying it. Loved the way he is focused on you and the treat. Amazing work you are both doing.
