Last weekend Flyer got his Novice Standard agility title with this run and a 4th place finish. We lost all 10 of our points at one jump when he went past it and then backed jump up while I was trying to find him..LOL..I think he was looking at the A frame when he went past the jump..In novice the refusal at the weaves isn't scored as long as they complete them correctly.

He also Q'd in his open standard run the next day but I wasn't able to get that on video.
These are his Open jumpers runs from the weekend. He had some good runs but had trouble finishing his weave poles (and he has beautiful weaves at training..LOL)

The cavs had some really nice runs too. Cedar had one Q and would have had another if his mom hadn't thrown her arm out to the side instead of ahead and like the good boy he is he took the off course jump she indicated. But overall I was please with their first trial since October.

Robbie..my ADHD kid..he is just as likely to spend 5 minutes doing circles around the ring as he is to actually doing the obstacles..but this weekend he did really good staying with me and mostly listening..we had a few off courses and he stresses at the weaves but other than one run (which didn't get taped) I was really happy with his performance..

Deb, Flyer is showing alot of promise. I guess just work on weaves under pressure or something. You had some nice runs with the others too. I saw some nicely executing front crosses.
Too bad our dogs do what we tell them to do not what we want them to do!

Sounds like you had some successes there too. Focus on those! The weather in the mountains must have cooperated for you too! Be very happy for that!

I was actually quite happy with all my boys..in fact came out of the ring after Robbie's run where he had taken an off course tunnel and someone said oh he was naughty and I said nope for him that was a great run because he did generally stay with me and finished the course.
The weather of the mountains was actually pretty good..some snow on the way over but ground was mostly just wet. Coming back weather was great.
