We ended up going to South Dakota and entering Obedience Novice B...
...with 10 weeks of training and ownership, at exactly 14 months old today, Lijah is now Kisawa All In A Day's Work CD RN CGC. One weekend, three consecutive shows, and scored 193, 193, and 197. We placed every day with 8-10 dogs in the class, had one dog break during the sit/stays every day and twice were sandwiched between a German Shepherd and St. Bernard-sized creature... very, very proud of my pup.
We were entered for tomorrow too, but I chose to head back to Wyoming. We're working cows three times this week, so pup gets a break for a couple days, and then we're showing in an ASCA show this Saturday.

Wow!! Big Congrats for a great job! Good thing you didn't listen to most of us![]()
Congrats
One word of caution - don't feel like you need to rush ANYTHING now ...

Congratulations! I'm glad for you and your dog that the venue appeared to be so nice and quiet because we never get indoor trials like that around here. You have plenty of time to practice for distractions now w/ no rush, as someone else said.![]()
I always try to remind myself that obed is for real life training, not just for the title. Anne
