Hi there! Since we got our novice titles last month, we moved up to Open JWW and Open Stadard today. It went great, we ran clean in both. Not very graceful but I am lucky, I have an honest dog, who saves my butt!
Here is our Jumpers run. You'll see I got lost after we came out of the back. I looked up and just saw jumps everywhere but it connected and we pulled it off albeit a bit a frantic! I do like how the front cross worked right before the ending. We got first place.

Here is our Standard run. All in all pretty good. The rear cross was not very smooth, but the job got done. I probably should have done a front cross after the solid jump. I was really happy with the end. I have had a habit of waiting for him to come out the tunnel. For what? I just ran like heck, and he hauled butt to catch up and we had a great close. We got first place.

We also did Novice FAST. No video but we Q'd and got third place.
Betsy, I missed you today!

Ann - what nice runs you and Miles had yesterday!! Miles looks great and clearly moving up to Open was the right thing to do. I moved Recon to Open Std but our 1st try was kind of a disaster. Contacts? What are those? We missed all three and we only got through about six obstacles so that will tell you how crazy it was. I'm going away tomorrow and somehow picked up a cold that I have to get rid of. Its seemed like a bad idea to go to a dog show when I was not feeling very well and coughing quite a bit. No one else wants to get sick and I didn't want to get sicker. I'm bummed because of not getting to run Shamrock. Recon has lots of time left and needs to practice a lot before we will really be good. Shamrock is already ten - I won't make him jump after this fall - at least in Agility and I was hoping we'd finish our AJP yesterday. Hopefully in October. Bet your runs today were equally fantastic.
