Emilu got her first Q in Open today!!! This was our 5th try. Gave up entirely last year to focus on getting our RAE. I was going to give her 4 more tries. Her heeling was not pretty AT ALL - judge took 15 points off and I don't blame him one bit! But she really did pretty well on everything else - obviously did everything, and on the first commandWe got a 178.5 and took third place because only 3 dogs Q'd. It was first legs for all of us - we were just beaming !!
congrats..*G*..very good job

Yea!!!! In Open, I was told years ago there were 69 ways to fail.Emilu didn't find one of those, so you have every reason to celebrate!!!!

O wow! Big congrats! Open is hard!! Like you, heeling is always our nemesis. We are focusing on that a bit more these days.
It was smart finishing RAE first. It is hard to try to do rally with obedience together. Rally, you can talk and gesture all you want. I never want to blow a Q, so I do what I have to to qualify. Dog gets used to that.
Congratulations on that Q! When do you try for leg 2?

Wonderful!! And when you get that CDX there is no notation of your scores. Enjoy your success. Congratulations and good for you for trying again.
