We measured under 22" but it wasn't a measuring judge so it was only good for today.

This was our first AKC agility trial and we've done a few CPE trials. I am so new to agility, it is hard for me to compare. I know that in CPE, Level 1 does not have weaves and teeter. As you can see, AKC does you you can't start trialing until you have those obstacles nailed.
CPE weaves are 22". AKC weaves are 24". AKC uses the table as an obstacle mid-course. Dog has to sit or down and pause for 5 seconds. CPE just uses it to stop the clock. I see people in CPE just let their dogs run across it, which is fine, but a friend of mine told not to ever let my dog do that if I planned to do AKC. I am glad I got I got that advice because it helped me avoid having to "untrain" a table habit. I am sure someone more experienced than I has a much longer lits!!

Light, "weedy" individuals are definitely incorrect; equally objectionable are cloddy lumbering specimens. Labrador Retrievers shall be shown in working condition well-muscled and without excess fat. Females should weigh between 55 and 70lbs and Males between 65 and 80lbs. Height females 21.5 to 23.5 inches males 22.5 to 24.5 inches at the withers.
