My goal today was to get a set of 12 weave poles up in my backyard. One trip to TSC and a little elbow grease and I did it!
First Peanut, my steady-eddie reliable girlie, always gets it done. She may not be the speediest little dog out there, but boy is she accurate, such a little thinker. She consistently weaves 24 poles in the superdogs show.

And then Baloo, my wild man. Training his weaves has been soo much harder than it was with Peanut, because he's not a thinker, he's a do-er, lol! It's still a bit of a struggle to convince him that yes, you DO need to do ALL the poles, the point is not to skip as many as you can just to get to the end faster!
But his accuracy is starting to build. He's starting to "get" that the only way to a reward is to do all the poles. As you can see in the vids, he still needs a lot more babysitting from me than his sister does, but thats ok. We'll get there!

Nice job Peanut and Baloo too!
Good job, Kate! Looks like they both love doing their weaves! Abbey was just officially introduced to them and we had the chicken-wire guards on them - Abbey didn't like that because they touched her.![]()
