Hi everyone! I am excited to report that over the weekend, Miles earned his APDT Rally Champion Extroadinaire title (ARCHEX)! To achieve this title in APDT Rally, you have to have earned the Level 1, level 2 and level 3 titles and then have earned the ARCH and the ARCHX. The ARCH is 5 double Qs in level 1 and 2 with scores of 190 or higher. The ARCHX os 5 more double Qs of in level 1 and 2 with scores of 195 or higher. Miles got his ARCHX last summer. To get the ARCHEX you must have 10 double Qs in level 2 and level 3 with scores of 195 or higher. He also got the level 3 individual championship (RL3X).
All of our scores over the weekend were over 205. Miles was a real rock star in the rally ring. We even got a 207 with food bowls in the ring. I do think the extra heel work has made a big difference. It was fun, that last run, I knew it felt good and when we finished, I heard a cheer go up outside the ring because everyone knew this was ARCHEX. Then I took Miles outside to chase his ball and I even let him chase the geese into the pond. He loves that more than life and he deserved it!
I am so proud of this guy!
I am a little sad that we are now done with APDT Rally, I really enjoy APDT rally, but we are on to utility and agility~other fun things!
