I took your recommendation and picked up a couple cow feet for the dogs, they LOVED them, thanks for the tip!!

Here's Peanut. Little minpin, big cow foot!!

Thanks again, they were a FANTASTIC recreational bone. They chewed and chewed for about forty minutes, then I rinsed off the feet and threw them back in the freezer, we'll get lots of use out of them!

Wow Kate, that looks great! That cow hoof looks as big as Peanut! I knew they would really enjoy them and you'll find that they're very easy on the teeth.

Where did you get them? They look very sanitary without the hyde? Do they have a barnyard smell or a smell more like regular meat?

I got them at my little hole-in-the-wall market, it really is a raw-feeders dream. I can't imagine what the heck anyone would do with a cow foot besides give it to their dogs.... but I suppose I could be surprised!

They are very sanitary (as sanitary as raw meat/bones can be, anyway! ) they didn't have much of a smell at all come to think of it.
