Dale is just under 100 pounds. Yesterday his breakfast was ground beef, a raw egg, chicken gizzards and chicken hearts. Lunch they had a little ground turkey and for dinner he had a cornish hen.............and today all I get out of him are 3 milk duds? (Sorry to milk dud people but thats all I can think of to relate it to!)
I know, I think Kate mentioned this before, but....should I be alarmed he eats all that and poops out 3 balls?
Most dogs will eliminate much much less than with kibble.

Hi Justine,
I think the same way, and great analogy- "milkduds" ;D.
When I started I had read that they process raw so much better and more completely and will exhaust so much less than when on a kibble diet. But I am still in awe when I actually see it each time. Isn't it great that we do feed this way? I really am excited for these guys knowing how good it is for them and how much they enjoy this diet-
Best,
Doug

I was actually worried about a blockage, but I guess if there was one, he wouldnt be pooping at all? I dont know.....wheres all the food going LOL My little one poops more then him.Originally Posted by YellowLabProject
One thing I did notice about this diet.....he doesnt ask me for table food.........never. Makes me think he was starving on kibble!
He wasn't starving, It's just that there is far more waste with kibble. My Angus is half raw half kibble for the last 7 months or so (I still don't feel I have my act together to do all raw competently, much more reading & learning to do.) and his poops are way smaller than they were when he was all kibble.
LOL @ the "milk duds"![]()
