If you've had titers done, how much did you pay.
I had them pull the blood work for Remington's titers today. It was $79.00. I did expect it to be over $100 though so I wasn't that unhappy with it.
Just wondering what others might be paying.
Around here for parvo/distemper titers, it is typically around $85-110.![]()

Distemper/Parvo titer $58.00 sent to Cornell
Rabies titer $100 sent to KSU

I just paid 79 for a distemper/parvo titer. I would have done the Rabies too but our state won't take Titers as proof that the animal is immune. Maddie's D/P titer was fine so she didn't need to be vaccinated. It has been 3 years since her last D/P
Sounds like they run about the same price all around then.
He will have to get a rabies shot (state requires it). We will be going with the three year shot.
Vet is hoping his titers will be good. She said if they are she would only titer him every two years as he'll probably be good to go.
I'm going to titer Ruger and Magnum from now on as well.
You can send them into Dr Dodds, $35 for Parvo & Distemper, $75 for Rabies.

I don't bother with the rabies titer cause it is not accepted except if the dog's health is greatly at risk. That is why I have my holistic vet do the rabies (she is a DVM). It was about that for her to do the other titers.

Any money spent on titres is a wast IMO ;D ;D
They don't measure immunity only circulating antibodies. Not a good predictor of immunity I'm afraid, especially at the cost. JMO, but if it makes you feel comfortable, there is certainly no harm in it. I think as people and vets get more comfortable with fewer vaccines, they will not feel the need to do titres.
