    Well?

I thought it would be fun to see what people are feeding on a daily basis. Might give others some ideas for meals, too.

Boring here today. Chicken quarters, pork cuts and kidneys.

This morning, Monty had a turkey back for breakfast. Lunch (we don't usually give lunch, but I was going to be late feeding this evening) was a can of mackeral, and dinner was tripe (washed out...I couldn't find the raw green at the grocery store and this is the first time I've seen tripe there at all!) and turkey livers/hearts/gizzards. All in all, it was too much food, but I'm still getting used to giving it.

Tomorrow morning may be another turkey back.

I spent $39.99 at the grocery store on my way home, and the bill included:
Collard greens $0.89 (for my tortoise)
Mustard greens $0.89 (for my tortoise)
    F4L-Foster L (chicken livers in a big pack) $2.10
    Beef Tripe $5.18
    Beef Tripe $4.33
    Beef Tripe $4.20
    Beef Tripe $4.04
    Turkey Gizzards $0.23
    Turkey Back $0.37
    Turkey Back $0.42
    Turkey Back $0.53
    Turkey Back $0.40
    Turkey Back $0.48
    Turkey Back $0.82
    Turkey Back $0.47
Foster Farms Whole Cut Up Chicken $5.16

I was so proud of myself finding some good deals! Some of the stuff, like the tripe and a couple of items for myself, was expensive, but a lot of the stuff was CHEAP, especially those turkey backs, which are almost 1 lb each! This was after 9pm, and I haven't found another grocery store yet that is cooperative in the least about what they have access to (cuts, bones, etc.).
