    Default First "fish night" tonight!!

....as proven by the mackerel that stare at me everytime I open the fridge. Creeeeeppppyyy...... :-[ :P

I'm excited! They both have yet to turn up their noses at anything, including healthy portions of beef liver, so I think they'll manage just fine.

This puts me at introduced protein #4!! ;D

Ha! I will try and get pics one of these days. I'm not quite over the hovering-over-them-to-make-sure-nobody's-choking stage of supervision. :-\

BUT, they LOVED it! I put some tripe in there to make it super-duper appealing, and they handled it like old pros. It most DEFINITELY takes the cake for smelliest meal EVER though..... :-X :-X

I discovered that if I have frozen whole fish, I have to let it warm up a little more than what I do with the rest of Caleb's meats. He scarfs it right down! Good for you! Glad they loved it!

Really? I TRY to get my cat and ferret to eat the heads when I feed them whole rainbow trout, but neither of them will touch it. Maybe Angus can come over and give them a pep talk lol ;D

He will truly eat anything you put in front of him, lol!! The very first mackerel he ever had he sniffed it for a bit, played with it, but once he realized it was food, he settled in and proceeded to eat the jaw off it and then went for the eyes :-X The rest of the head was next. *hurk*.
