Hello all. I've been looking for some BARF recipe's and I have found a couple but I was looking for more. Can we post the recipe's we are using at home? I like to hunt but I don't like to eat a lot of the animals I can hunt in my area, so I don't hunt. I don't believe in hunting unless you're going to eat what you kill. However I am looking into using the game I hunt in a raw fed diet for my dogs. I was wondering if anyone is using any of the following in their BARF diets?

Duck
Goose
Deer
Pheasant
Rabbit
Partridge
Woodcock
Moose

My first thoughts about a BARF diet were that I couldn't afford it. If I were to use a protein that I can hunt myself it would not be a problem to feed a raw diet. I did see one recipe with Rabbit on the web and they are pretty plentiful and my Lab would love Rabbit Hunting!

Have you looked into the prey model diet of raw feeding? It might be a little more up your alley.
